Ireland is a great place to visit, either to learn English or to visit and enjoy the spectacular scenery, rich and varied history and friendly people. Travel Ireland Ltd. was created in 1972 as a general incoming tour operator, offering a range of services to travel agents sending groups to Ireland.  However, the company soon began to specialize in the field of youth and student travel and ultimately became known as one of the leading youth and student operators in Ireland. We developed a network of local organisers and host family centres throughout the country in addition to youth hostel and residential accommodation options. Our key staff have been with us for many years, and have developed a wide range of skills and expertise in this area. As a small company, we offer a very personalized service to our clients, and most programmes can be tailored to suit the individual needs and interests of our clients.

Our teachers are all EFL qualified, experienced and professional individuals who take a real interest in their students and are delighted to share their knowledge. Our main centre is in Cork, with additional schools in Limerick, Waterford, Killarney and Galway. The schools are open in July and August for stays of from 2 to 4 weeks. Classes take place each weekday morning from 9.30am – 12.30pm, and an interested and varied activity programme is offered for the afternoons, including sports activities, tourist visits and cultural activities. These programmes are open to groups (minimum 10 people) but in our centre in Cork we also accept individual bookings on specific starting dates.  Students are assessed on the first morning to determine the correct level of English.  The emphasis is on speaking and understanding.

Apart from the classic language & cultural programmes, we also offer a number of Accommodation options include staying with an Irish host family, youth hostels, guesthouse or student residences (only available I July/August/September period).
